Alright, so I’m standing by the door, all set to meet Mayuri, the incredible girl I’ve been chatting with for weeks. And, let me tell you, I’m both pumped and a little nervous. Okay, a lot nervous! Not because I don’t know her well enough—we’ve talked about everything, from favorite snacks to worst haircuts. No, I’m nervous because this is the moment when the words on the screen finally take shape. Plus, okay, I’ll admit it: I kind of have a thing for tall women. Not that I’ve ever dated one. Or even mentioned it. But yeah, she seems tall enough in her photos, and I don’t mind.
So, I open the door—and I swear, my brain just short-circuits. Mayuri is not just “tall.” She is tall. And she’s wearing heels. Big ones. I think my jaw actually drops. Her smile is beaming down from, like, way up there, and I’m pretty sure she can see the exact moment I realize I might need to crane my neck to look her in the eye. Her big brown eyes, currently swimming with amusement, glance down at me; all five feet of me.
“Hey there!” she says, just as casually as you like.
“Oh, hi!” I manage, probably sounding about two octaves too high. “Wow, you’re... taller than I imagined.” Real smooth, Shivam, I think, mentally patting myself on the back for that genius observation.
But she just laughs, completely at ease. “Didn’t ask, did you?” she teases, her voice warm. It’s like she’s already in on the joke, and maybe I am, too. I mean, who cares, right? Tall women are awesome, and I just got my wish in a major way.
Then, I notice there’s more to her than just her height. She has a gorgeous face, a shapely jaw & a heart-melting smile. Her small nose only adds to the cuteness and charm she graciously carries herself with.
Was I dreaming? Is this all real? The fantasy I’ve had since I was 14 has finally come true. A goddess, standing right here, on a date with me!
I invite her in, and she ducks a little to walk through the doorway, which I can’t help but notice. I mean, I don’t think I’ve ever ducked in my life. When she takes off her heels and still practically towers over me, I just laugh.
“Did you wear those heels just to give me a heart attack?” I joke.
Mayuri shrugs, all innocent. “I thought they looked nice! Besides, it keeps things... memorable.”
Well, she isn’t wrong about that.
We settle in, order some pizza, and get comfortable. Of course, every little thing feels like it has a height joke attached to it. When I try to reach up for a glass on the shelf, she effortlessly grabs it and hands it to me with a smirk, glancing down.
I’m pretty sure my heartbeat skyrockets at how close we’re standing. I’m barely making it up to her chest, which, to be honest, kind of feels nice.
“You are too cute for your own good.” She says, passing me the glass with a warm smile.
“Not my first time hearing it,” I say, a tad too proudly. Shhh...she doesn’t need to know I’m just flaunting.
“What?” she says, bending until her ear is in line with my mouth. “Couldn’t hear you from that far up,” she says, holding back a laugh.
“Haha...you should apply as a comic in India’s Got Latent.” I roll my eyes with a hint of a smile.
We settle on my couch, and Mayuri leans back, her long legs stretched out. It doesn’t help that she’s wearing shorts. I can’t help but stare.
The feeling of being dwarfed engulfs me, seeing that she towers over me even while sitting.
I can’t help but feel a strange thrill as she leans in, her breath warm against my ear. “So, Shivam...” she murmurs, “I’ve been thinking.....which movie shall we binge-watch?” Her voice trails off as she trails a finger down my arm, her touch lingering a moment too long.
Any movie you’d like, my goddess!
I’m getting hard. Too hard for its own good. I’m pretty sure it’s noticeable from my cargo pants.
“Uhhh...How about an anime movie? Have you heard of Your Name?”
“You wanna watch a cartoon movie?”
She did not just say that!!
I’m almost fuming when I hear her laughter.
“You look cute when you’re mad. My cute red nerd,” she whispers, jokingly.
“You know there’s a special space kept for people like you in HELL,” I smirk.
“Sure, shorty. Well, we can watch any anime movie you want! I love animes, silly. Didn’t I tell you I’ve completed my first anime, Bleach?”
A tall, beautiful girl who loves anime. God does exist!
And I’m not so sure anymore that this date isn’t just a dream.
I turn on my flat screen, choose Netflix, and play Your Name.
For the next 2 hours, we enjoy not just the movie but each other’s company as well. And some pizza too.
“Your Name was soooo good, Shivam. Damn, that ending...almost had me crying,” she says, her childish excitement peeking through.
For a moment, I kind of forget the massive height difference between us.
“I know, right? Leave it to Shivam to make the right choices,” I say playfully.
“I am not arguing there! You get to choose all the movies we watch from now on.” She laughs.
Wait...does that mean we’re going to have a second date? Awesome!!
She looks at her watch and stands up. “Well, I think I’ll head home now. It’s almost 10! Don’t want to roam these Delhi streets alone, right?” She stretches up.
It’s a marvelous sight.
I can’t stop staring. “Right,” I say, a bit disappointed.
What am I hoping? She’ll stay the night? Shut up, Shivam.
“Although I don’t think any guy would wanna mess with someone who could just roll ’em up and toss ’em like a football.”
“Shut up, you. Get up & see me off,” she laughs.
I get up, still getting used to looking so high up just to glance into her kind eyes.
She peers down at me, a bit too warmly.
Uh oh...there it goes...hard again.
“Come here.” She grabs my arm and pulls me in.
She envelops me in a giant hug, bending down to properly hug me.
Forget the humor, I love it. She’s a lovely human being.
There’s something fun about being with someone who can just lean over and make you feel like a human backpack. And it’s Mayuri, so it’s even better.
By the end of the night, the height thing feels like some sort of inside joke—something we’ll always laugh about. And yeah, maybe part of me is already thinking about a second date.
“See you soon,” she says, winking. She grabs her bag, slips on her high heels, diminishing my stature even more, and off she goes, sailing into the night.
I don’t even ask to drop her off! Well, that’s okay. She’s a big girl, after all.
I’ve got to do something about this poor sense of humor.

From the Author
Yeah yeah, I know! It sounds tooooo good to be true. A fairytale, right? Well yeah! That's what it is! It's meant to make you squirm in your bed, with that lovey dovey feeling in your brain. I love tall women. And I love writing romantic poems & stories. So, I thought why not converge this into one! I picked up my PC, went on GPT & Gemini just to create a story to humor myself but the output I got felt so human, so realistic and so fun that I had to write it! I've created this blog for people like you, who love tall girls just like me.
Don't worry! It's not all AI-generated. I added my own touch to it as well! You can see it in my pj's right?
Well, dear reader, that's all you've got in this 1st chapter.
See you in the next one.
Hope you're in to see more into the lives of Mayuri & Shivam, the perfect tall women short man couple!
